Intellectual curiosity informs my practice by fueling my interest of moral mechanics. Constantly questioning and wanting to understand the quiet and internal events that shape relationship, identity, and self understanding; ultimately composing the texture of the human experience.

Moral mechanics and human behavior: Observations and experiences, both personal and learned are valued as inspiration. I first work through these inspirations by written word. This helps me refine the subject to fundamental characteristics. Next I begin the visual draft by making a series of color tests with resolutely mapped gestural marks. Colors and marks hold conceptual nuance and are restrained in attempt to only provide core attributes, void of decoration, resulting as sincere interpretations in color and form.

Internal illumination: By pursuing light and color as intuitive expression of emotional rapture and resonance the objective is to experience color as sensation. As color fills the body, the synesthesia and frisson.
